OTS implements technology strategy, policies, and operational procedures in support of the College’s instructional, research, and administrative functions. Serving a total user population of 9,000 constituents spread across five campuses, OTS strives to provide fast, reliable, and efficient service. OTS administers and maintains the College’s heterogenous end-user computing environment comprised of Mac OS and Windows 7 desktops, and a server-side infrastructure comprised of Mac OS X Server, Microsoft Active Directory, Citrix XenDesktop and XenApp, and Drupal CMS. In addition to end-user and server-side computing, OTS has designed, implemented, and now maintains specialized A/V systems in nearly two-dozen departmental instructional spaces.
